License agreement

Version 1.0 · 2026-10-14

What you may do with Pacelense and what its author is responsible for.

  1. 1.Parties and acceptance

    1.1. This agreement is between you and the author of the Pacelense app. The author is Iurii Korytko, a private individual residing in Bulgaria.

    1.2. When the app first starts, it shows this agreement and asks you to accept it. Until you accept it, the app does not run.

    1.3. Nothing in this agreement takes away rights that the law of your country gives you and that no agreement can limit.

  2. 2.License

    2.1. The author grants you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app under the terms of this agreement.

    2.2. You may use the app on any number of computers, with no time limit — for yourself, on streams, in teams, clubs, leagues and sim-racing centers — and you may show it in videos, reviews and broadcasts and tell others about it.

    2.3. You may share the installer exactly as you downloaded it. The author recommends sharing a link to pacelense.app instead, so that the other person gets the genuine version.

    2.4. You do not need the author's permission for anything listed in this section.

  3. 3.Restrictions

    3.1. You may not:

    (a) sell or rent out the app, or include it in anything you sell;

    (b) present the app as your own;

    (c) copy, decompile or modify the app in order to release a modified version of it or anything based on it, under any name, including Pacelense;

    (d) remove or replace the app's name and logo and distribute the result;

    (e) use the app in breach of the law or of the simulator's rules.

    3.2. Where the law of your country gives you a right that this section restricts, the law prevails.

  4. 4.Rights in the app

    4.1. The app is licensed, not sold: all rights in it, including its name and logo, belong to the author, except for third-party components (section 5 “Third-party components”).

    4.2. If you suggest an idea, the author may use it in the app without payment and without crediting you. If you send the author something you made for the app, such as a translation, a widget layout or an image, you allow the author, free of charge, to use, change and distribute it as part of the app, with no limits as to country or time. You keep your own rights in what you sent.

  5. 5.Third-party components

    The app includes several free components by other authors. They are distributed under their own licenses: their names, authors and full license texts are installed with the app. This agreement does not limit your rights under those licenses.

  6. 6.Price and donations

    6.1. The app is free, and everything that is free in it now will stay free. Only things added to the app later may become paid in the future.

    6.2. Donations are voluntary and do not unlock any additional features: the app has no accounts and no license keys.

  7. 7.Updates and support

    7.1. The app checks for new versions by itself, but downloads and installs one only when you decide to.

    7.2. A new version may add, change or remove features, and change how widgets look and work.

    7.3. The author is not obliged to release updates or provide support and may stop developing the app at any time.

  8. 8.Disclaimer of warranties

    The app is provided “as is”, with all faults and without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that it is free of errors, fit for a particular purpose or compatible with every version of the simulator. The data the app shows may be inaccurate. Decisions you make in a race, and their consequences, are your responsibility.

  9. 9.Limitation of liability

    9.1. To the extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the app or the inability to use it, including lost races, results, ratings, data or time, or for indirect damage.

    9.2. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to 100 euros in total.

    9.3. Nothing in this agreement limits liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any other liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

  10. 10.iRacing

    Pacelense is an independent product, not affiliated with or endorsed by iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, LLC. iRacing is a trademark of iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, LLC. Your use of iRacing is governed by iRacing's rules, not by this agreement.

  11. 11.Termination

    11.1. You may end this agreement at any time by uninstalling the app.

    11.2. If you breach section 3 “Restrictions”, your right to use the app ends.

    11.3. However this agreement ends, sections 4 “Rights in the app”, 8 “Disclaimer of warranties”, 9 “Limitation of liability”, 13 “Governing law and disputes” and 14 “General provisions” remain in effect.

  12. 12.Changes to this agreement

    12.1. Each version of this agreement has a number and a date.

    12.2. Corrections that do not change the terms of this agreement, such as typos or clearer wording, are published without separate notice.

    12.3. If the terms themselves change, the new agreement arrives only with a new version of the app. When you decide to install an update, the app first shows the new agreement and asks you to accept it. If you accept it, the app updates. If you do not, the update is not installed, and you may keep using your current version under the previous terms.

    12.4. A new agreement cannot take back the promise in clause 6.1: what is free now will stay free.

    12.5. Earlier versions of this agreement are published at pacelense.app/license/versions.

  13. 13.Governing law and disputes

    13.1. This agreement is governed by the law of Bulgaria, and disputes under it are heard by the courts of Bulgaria. If you live in the EU, you may also go to the courts of your own country.

    13.2. Before going to court, write to the author: most issues can be resolved by correspondence.

  14. 14.General provisions

    14.1. If any provision of this agreement is found invalid, the other provisions remain in force.

    14.2. If the author does not insist on a provision, this does not mean that the author waives it.

    14.3. The author may transfer this agreement, together with the project, to another person or company; your rights under it are not reduced.

    14.4. This agreement is published in English and Russian. If the two texts differ, the English text prevails.

    14.5. How data is handled is described in the privacy policy at pacelense.app.
